The Soccer Matrix uses audio instruction. It involves the unit calling out a panel number at which the player strikes the ball. Once this panel has been struck the next panel number in the sequence will be called out. These number sequences are called drills a series of drills are called blocks. The unit will announce and display a score, the quicker and the nearer to the centre of the panel you strike the ball the higher your score.
Soccer matrix has an on-board computer and panel sensors, these sensors pick up the accuracy, weight of pass and reaction of every ball strike. This data is stored on the SD card housed in the on-board computer, when you remove the SD card and insert it into your PC you will be able to read all data via your Soccer matrix PC application downloadable free from our website. Here is an example printout highlighting a selection of data available.
Data feedback – the PC application automatically organizes all data based around the 3 measurements, accuracy, weight of pass and reaction. The data can be viewed or printed in isolation and fed back at the discretion of the coach, for certain exercises you may only be interested in one piece of data.
